While everyone else was sitting in traffic, I checked out underground rapper slash producer slash nice guy Alias at The Middle East. I was happy to run into him before the show so we could grab a beer and catch up. Too bad Rob wasn't around (what the heck are you doing in Taiwan?), he would have really liked Brendon's collection of audio gadgets.

On the way home, the BBC was talking about some study showing that people with good memories just excel at filtering out useless information. Now it all makes sense, I'm a useless information sponge. The part of my brain that evolution carefully tuned for storing phone numbers isn't actually broken, it's just full of 80s television trivia. Could be worse.
